Friends is an active volunteer service and fundraising group supporting The NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale and fostering community interest in the arts. FRIENDS has been an integral part of the Art Museum Fort Lauderdale for over 60 years. Friends is known for its leadership and commitment to the Museum.
We encourage and promote membership in the Museum, sponsor educational lectures, trips and cultural projects for the public and our members, organize and present fundraising events, and provide volunteer assistance at the Museum. We operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Membership in FRIENDS is a structured means to participate in and support our Museum.
